Editing Step 8 —

Step Type:

Parts:
1 3" x 8" solid shaft (cut a length if you've got a longer piece)
2 1" nuts
Weld a 1" nut to each end of the shaft.
In the picture we put a bolt into the nut temporarily to hold it in place while welding.
