Add the plywood to the bottom and to one side. Use 1 1/2" screws to attach it about every 12".

See image 2 for the close-up of how the pieces come together. Like the 2x4 framing, the bottom piece projects out and the side piece comes down to meet it. Any time pieces come together, they should be flush with the wood frame and with each other.
