life trac 5: Plans for older prototypes?

Hi,

Are there any plans for the older models? There is almost no information on prototype 6 & 7 so it's hard to get a good idea on the design so far. If machinists, designers, engineers and builders had more information they could perhaps understand the problems and current modifications better.

CEB Press: How do I prepare the soil to make bricks?

My ground is across the highway from Riverdale, KS and though nearby fields grow wheat, soybeans and etc. I have difficulty growing a garden in it. This dirt is so thick that when I drilled post holes for the cesspool (other people call it a lagoon) I had to drill a little at a time and soak the holes with water so the drill could get the dirt to come up out of the holes. The dirt came up as small balls of clay.

1. How do I test the dirt for clay-brick quality?

2. How do I get all the grass roots out of it so I can make consistent great quality bricks?

3. Do the bricks need to be fired so they will be excellent house building material?

Other: Is a computer architecture part of GVCS plans?

A computer architecture system locally sourced from an advanced GVCS replab can (and should) be different from the industrial era's traditional global market sourced systems.

Manufacturing should be mostly additive and with long term usage focus (reduce, reuse, recycle upfront in design). This gives an opportunity to rethink computer architecture, since the proprietary hardware boundaries are not applied.

Has anyone started thinking/tinkering on how the GVCS computer architecture can come to fruition?

Dozuki page organization.: Should the dozuki page categorize machines by their completion state?

I think it would be cool if each of the instruction pages could have a completion rating, and they could be sorted based on completion state.

At the moment, people could click on any of the many GVCS machines and think they can get a guide, without realizing what is in development and what is a complete guide adequate to perform a build.

LifeTrac: Additions to soil working

Hey,

Would like to add something to you projects.

Viktor Schauberger designed a plow, or at least the part that does the plowing. You might wanne incorperate this into the designs. Also the material used was a copper, brons alloy, which is much better then iron for the soil. It cuts the ground up slice per slice and trows it upside down. check spk tools in germany for more info and some documentaries on youtube about Viktor Schauberger.
